CSPL Training Costs

CSPL members receive a 75% discount to attend or host a CSPL community organizing and leadership formation training that is fully grounded and inspired by the Catholic traditions. Discounts are provided on an as-needed basis and customizable trainings available for institutional hosts. Breakdown of costs and calendar can be found below.

Cost of Training for Members and Non-Members

Non-Members: 

  • Institutions - $400 hourly 

    • Full-Day - $2,400 (6 hour training)

    • Half-Day - $1,200 (3 hour training)

    • Daylong Bundle Options (Training 1.0, 2.0, 3.0) 

      • 2 of 3 full-day trainings - $4,400 ($400 saving) 

      • 3 of 3 full-day trainings - $6,600 ($600 saving) 

  • Individual 

    •  $100 - Full-Day 

    • $50 - 3 Hour Workshop 

Members:

  • Institutions - $100 hourly (75% discount)

    • Full-Day - $600 (6 hour training)

    • Half-Day - $300 (3 hour training)

    • Daylong Bundle Options(Training 1.0, 2.0,3.0)  

      • 2 of 3 full-day trainings - $1,000 ($200 saving) 

      • 3 of 3 full-day trainings - $1,500 ($300 saving) 

  • Individual - (75% discount)

    • $25 - Full-Day 

    • $10 - 3 Hour Workshop 

Costs cover the following: 

  • Training materials and supplies 

  • Professional staff time and resources 

  • Pre and post-training planning and strategizing with hosts and individual participants. Typically includes anywhere between 2-3 (1-1.5 hour) pre and post planning meetings and one-on-one’s.

*This includes coaching and mentorship for 2-3 designated institutional leaders (institutional membership benefit).

Host parishes, universities and organizations are expected to provide food and drinks for all participants and CSPL trainers in addition to a suitable room or space for training. Hosts seeking to hold an in-person training outside of the Chicago region should consult with a member of CSPL’s training department. Costs for trainings outside of the Chicagoland region will include additional expenses to cover the travel and lodging for CSPL training staff. There are no travel or lodging costs associated with hosting an online training.
