TAKE ACTION

CSPL believes in the power of grassroots organizing, and our successes prove that it works.

You are the change-maker
we’re looking for.

At the Coalition for Spiritual & Public Leadership, we believe that every individual has the power to make a difference in their community. Help us serve you well by telling us which of these applies to you:

we need you

GET INVOLVED

We couldn’t exist and make the massive difference we do without your involvement and contributions! There are a number of ways you can get involved, including talking to your parish or organization about becoming a member of our coalition.

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER

Your role as an institutional member of CSPL is so much more than a financial contribution. Our members are change-makers and mission builders in our communities. You will become a voice in our mission and a valued community leader, and create lasting relationships with other people of faith.

YOU may be a good fit if you want:

  • Engagement with organizing & training work

  • See social justice efforts that are directly tied to your contribution

  • Relationships with other members, partners, and contributors.

  • Discounts on CSPL faith and leadership formation

  • Participation in committees and round tables in your community

  • Become a decision-maker and gain influence in your community.

“CSPL’s strength is in drawing out the wisdom embedded in everyone, the presence of the Spirit in each person’s journey, and helping the group gather that up to discern new insights, take new decisions, and work together to bring equity and justice and hope to all our communities.

Peters Jones, Dean of Loyola Chicago IPS, with several IPS students pose around the table of the 2024 Congress

“We have alumni and current students who have participated in CSPL’s Leadership Cohort and they come from a variety of our ministry formation programs (counseling, social justice, pastoral studies, and others). All report with excitement the quality of the experience and immense value it brings them personally and professionally. We also have had students complete internships with CSPL under the capable supervision of the team there, who are utterly remarkable people.

“IPS is thankful to be a long-term institutional member of CPSL, from which we benefit so much and through which we appreciate new connections and relationships with the broader Chicagoland community.”
