Who Am I:
Raised in a military family, Katrina spent much of her childhood moving across the South. Currently, she is pursuing a degree in Public Health at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), driven by a passion for addressing health disparities within minority groups. Along with her education, Katrina has worked in the medical field as a Patient Care Tech and Phlebotomist, providing compassionate care to marginalized communities and ensuring they receive the medical attention and support they deserve.
With over a decade of experience in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, Katrina is dedicated to community outreach and engagement. She is particularly focused on advocating for equitable access to healthcare and resources for underserved populations. Her background in leadership roles, along with her hands-on experience in the medical field, fuels her commitment to improving public health outcomes for minority groups and creating meaningful change in the communities she serves.
In addition to her community-focused work, Katrina excels as an office manager, handling various administrative duties such as scheduling, event coordination, office management, and staff support. Her organizational skills and attention to detail are essential in maintaining an efficient office environment.
